Raido, what is it?
Before becoming a real political structure, Raido was made up of comrades coming from various political experiences. After, many people who never took part into political life, decided to become member of this new group. Their choice was based on the need to fill a gap that right wing could not fill: the spiritual dimension. Raido was born on 21rst April 1995, after having defined a common line and abandoned unuseful habits.
Afterwards, we found in the Traditional values the common land to express a precise will: to form a hierarchic order taking inspiration from these values and focusing on the importance of Authority as guide concept.
Raido is the expression of a pure community way of life. We are not high – brows that focus on sterile thoughts, but our community wants to put into practice Codreanu’s teaching.
We stress the accent on the importance for each militant to confront himself with his comrades and with the external world in order to verify his own choice.
Each member knows that the coherence between what he is and what he does can be tested only by a right way of living. Raido is not isolated from the external world. It is guided by a ruler, an oligarch who, thanks to a council, leads and guides the activities taking inspiration from Evola, Guenon and Codreanu’s works.
Raido aim is to rectify and make each militant better, in one word: training. This target can be achieved only by real actions. Everyone tries to improve his existential plan-education/professional, family, love affairs and his spiritual field by the correction of negative aspects (selfishness, individualism, edonism and materialism). These two paths are not separated from community and social life.
Each member gives his own contribution to support our association. Despite modern institution which aim is to modify some structures and make proselytes, our comrades try to improve themselves at the first, and after to change what is around them. After having analyzed right wing lack, we created a cultural association that organizes various appointments and published editorial items.
What are the goals of Raido?
Our goal is, first of all, the militant correction and qualification, its formation. For us formation is to make order in our life, so to fulfill itself Throught concrete achievements: on existential level (study, work, family, relationship with the opposite sex) and on spiritual level by correcting negative aspects of each (egoism, individualism, hedonism and materialism), not separated both by the community and social life. In the last one instead we work through the work contribution to support association and community initiatives. Unlike modern parties, be they liberal inspiration or marxist ones, here the militants work themself and, as a consequence, on the society.
Raido militant is aware that the consistency between what is said and what is actually being done, can be found only through the daily actions. So In three words the objectives of Raido are: tradition, formation, revolution.
What are the Raido reference points?
We should enumerate too much: holy books of Vedic Tradition, Adriano Romualdi, and Plato, Yamamoto Tsunetomo (Hagakure author), until Nietzsche of ‘active nihilism’ and Robert Brasillach. More concretely we say: Leon Degrelle and Corneliu Codreanu for political and existential point of view; Rene Guenon and Julius Evola for doctrinal and spiritual ones. Above all, the adhesion of Tradition idea.
What’s the meaning of your symbol?
To explain we usually quote a book of Indian tradition, Markandedeya-Purana (XLII, 7): “The vital breath is the bow, the soul is the shaft and Brahman is the excellent aim; so by assiduously piercing Brahman like a shaft one becomes at one with Him.” This is the action Raido carries out.
Lot of people talking about Tradition, but what is it for Raido?
Tradition come from latin ‘ tradere’ and it mean a changeover act, of what? Of an heritage, which have not human origin but spiritual one. Trasmission of a Truth through the examples of men who personified in their life a noble lifestyle, trasmission of a doctrine as we received from authors like Evola and Guenon.
When we talk about Tradition we dont refer to conservation or fixation of exterior forms, neither somethings we don’t know the meaning anymore nor a specific religion . But to trasmission, to hand down, to deliver in a real and direct way a view of life, to give real sense for our action, and so that our militancy takes a specific direction: vertical one. To know Tradition we have to study doctrine, far from to be useless intellectualism, it must to give full knowledge and consciousness to militant action. This Last one, cannot be said enough, is the principal yardstick , because is not the titles, the books or simply words to evaluete a person, but Style in his existential behaviour. So Tradition is action.
What’s Raido position about religion?
We distinguish between Tradition and religion. Raido has not any kind of exclusion with Religions (rights of them). At the contrary, religion (re-ligio, to connect again) is one of the way has man to connect to Holy. So, to understand the relationship between Tradition and religion, we can imagine a big tree, where Tradition represent the trunk while the religious ways symbolize the branches, link to the trunk with the same lifestream. So every right religion represent a connection between Tradition, ‘cause is a particular aspect of the same thing. For this Raido is not for a particular religion or for the religious intransigence, but respect religious paths against atheism and new-age spiritualism. Every militant is free to follow a particular religious path if what we said is understood. And is for this kind of consciousness we can take as model ancient Rome Spirit like japanese samurai or ghibellin Middle-age knights order or indian Bhagavad-gita and more. Is not syncretism, or exoticism, but summary of same listening and same origin.

Subscription throught “associazione culturale Raido” membership card, is like to be a Raido community militant?
Absolutely not. Associazione culturale Raido and the community are different. The membership card we offer to friends and comrades is an offer to our activity, who does all the daily initiatives without any financing. To sign-up is a concrete support to our no-profit making activities, who seeks for more than 15 year to reinvest all the resources for the “Front of Tradition”.
Who hang out at your seat-library? Is just for militans or it possible to visit by everybody?
Absolutely, everybody are welcome. Our seat, which works as a library, is visited by a heterogeneous group of people: sympathizers or militant of other community (with no preclusion), just clients who looking for a book, youngs and old-men. Open for everybody from monday to saturnday, from 10am-1pm and 4-8pm.
What we can find entering in your Rome seat in Via Scirè?
First of all a militant context where we can compare ourself and discover our activities and the community. Our seat, a library precisely, has a lot of books about Tradition and no-politically correct arguments and musical, handcraft, clothes, natural and organic foods and more. So library is the most important business activity but the initiatives we always conduct are several: conferences, conventions, concerts, study groups and training courses, mountaing trekking and climbing hang out, community lunches, editor production, a rock band and more.
Are there girls in Raido? What are their role?
Ladies “Cuib” works for years in Raido. The ladies have important and present roles in all the initiatives, in a complementary vision and not an antagonist one between genders. Their path is a comrade confrontation and not sentimental one. Cuib is not a lady friends group where they chat or make small talk, but ladies with convinction to make a different way together; not horizontal but a vertical way, to grow up and discover their womanliness. Cuib organizes itself conference, events, work together with the ladies of SAF (servizio ausiliare femminile), makes publications in “documenti per il Fronte della Tradizione” book series, is the soul of ‘Artifex’ the handcraft project, to contribute with ideas and money to the legionary economy.
What is “Gruppo Escursionistico Orientamenti“? Is it possible to take part of your trekkings even if I’m not a Raido militant?
Since Raido was born, we promoted mountain activities. For us mountain is a training of life, to grow up and we are happy to contributed this awareness in our political area. As GEO we born to prove ourself outside urban context, throught sacrifice experience, and love to something still beauty and pure too, too far from modern world contaminations. And more, to share in a comrade spirit the ascent to the top or a camp in a snow storm: all these experiences are an occasion to form a man, to regenerate virtues and destroy the bourgeois laziness of our society. To join GEO activity is free to everybody doesn’t looking for sport records or personal gratification, even something like naturalistic romanticism. So not only Raido militant but militant of other political community or just singles who love the mountain experience.
What is “Azione Tradizionale” blog? Is it the Raido blog?
Azionetradizionale born as a Raido insert. From the fanzine, now out of work, is born the blog, that recently
reached 1million contacts. But is not just Raido blog, is the all “front of Tradition” blog. At.com everyday has articles about chronicle, critic reflection, traditional doctrine, opinion articles: everything, in a functional key to contrast, throught smart and dynamic tool as a blog, modern world lies with itself istrument! Of course at.com is open to everybody wants to give a hand for the front of tradition, to send articles, pictures, highlightings and everything thinks should be useful for our battle.
What is ”militant formation” ? What is study groups Raido often organizes ?
First of all, when we talk about study groups we do not refer to a sort of circle of fake-intellectuals who want to show some infos learning by memory, or meetings where is possible to loose mind in accademic labirinth. Are reunions where we discuss about world view and traditional life-style throught study of doctrine, it be understood that doctrine and analysis is not separeted by Action. Is a chance for the youngers to approach for the first time Tradition and often militancy too. But who joins these groups is not necessary a militant, ‘cause Raido target is not proselitism. So, like every our initiatives the study groups has the purpose to grow-up individuals, in this case to procure the useful instruments to the militant life. In a world where activism tout court is the only and poor way, throught chaotic and hysterical dynamics, formation is a real revolutionary action: to put an order and hierarchy in our life, ‘cause our idea of militancy is 24h and 365 day/year.
Why you said “Raido doesn’t make proselitism”?
Codreanu discerned two kind of men: politician an legionary. Politician, throught promises, demagogy and charming words, does proselitism to gain votes for him and his party; legionary is the opposite. Acting in direct and simple mode, doesn’t make promises he knows cannot keep, and above all he acts throught enrolment not proselitism. “enrolment” is, according to Codreanu, the capability to be a 100% model of ideas you suggest, to attract spontaneously individuals with the same world view. So Raido has strict standard for his join-up , staring at quality instead quantity. Plain-speaking, neither we don’t wanna convince no one, nor we have gratification if thinking like us is a big or little group of person.
So about electoral competition?
No relationship. Raido in any level is away from electoral competition, ‘cause our undemocratic view, and it is the only way for us. Inspiring by Tradition we have an hierarchical and aristocratic orientation, totally different to democratic institutions. Democracy is a compromise logic, a favours trade. Quantitative issue is the first thing, while we sure is not votes to determinate strenght, but existence of skilled militants. Raido does politics, but to wake-up new form of sensibility far away by number democratic fixations.
What is Raido attitude about “system”? What should be the solution to improve it?
There isn’t a solution. We don’t try to escape from fight and responsability against this world we don’t like at all.
We do not just ‘cause we aren’t reformists, but “revolutionary”: first of all for us, as modern men, members of this world. So, “not programs but new men”: this is for us the right recipe for the decay of this system and to rebuild a better world.
Here an Right now: what’s the worst enemy of man living in this society?
It’s you, who are reading these words. For Raido, the biggest enemy is inside us. Useless infact to ask world or people to change this or that thing when you are not able to do the same; impossible pretendong by others that changing in their life you not able to do; illogical believe that without a real internally improvement just words, posters, fliers and political activism can really shake souls around us. Before holdings, before banks, americans, wild immigration, is necessary acting a fight against everything is bourgeois, dark and all too human we have in our heart. That place are living our enemy to fight every day. ” in time of world defeat, is necessary crude and high souls like stones against the dark and wild waves.” Degrelle said. Is Action prove how much, even if we live here, we are outsider in this world, denying compromises, agreements, hypocrisy, throught tasks and responsability, forcing to crash our incoherence and cowardice. Is necessary an ethic of duty without rhetoric, heroism without glory, triumphs, medals, and great acts, ‘cause is the only way to eradicate arrogance , passing fancy, original and attention-seeking
Hung-ups, distraction and undiscipline. Perfection, we know well, is hard to achieve, but we have to force us every day to became better, in the life tests, misfortunes, extreme and dangerous situations, always be decisive and strong. Cause we know every action in rights of Tradition is a ritual raises man to the sky.
